Biography
Designer and policy practitioner bridging design thinking and public innovation.
Joining PIF…
After a decade-long career in big tech, I realized I wanted to move beyond the screen and focus on the systems behind the services. I went back to school for policy to better understand how to evaluate complex tradeoffs and set the right incentives for diverse groups. It was a class on digital governance and public innovation that really clicked for me, and from then on I became interested with the idea of making public services work better for everyday citizens.
PIF is the perfect marriage of my background as a designer and my new path as a policy practitioner. My goal is to bridge the gap between “design thinking” and traditional policy, using it as a catalyst for a government that is as responsive, resilient, and user-friendly as possible.
