Technology strategist dedicated to social impact.
Rachel Shi is driven by a mission to empower those around her through individual interactions and systems-level change. Rachel has experience working in both the private and public sectors, making people-centered connections and breaking down silos in complex organizations.
Rachel began her career as a management consultant at Accenture, where she advised healthcare, education, and non-profit clients on various digital transformation and strategy projects. She partnered with client leadership to facilitate data-driven decision-making, agile adoption, and change management best practices. Following her time in consulting, Rachel worked with a number of international education partners and the D.C. public school system to support communities through technology planning and guidance. Across the organizations and agencies that Rachel has collaborated with, she has provided expertise on developing digital strategies and building out improved structures and processes for implementation.
Rachel has a B.A. in Biological Sciences and Minor in Business from Cornell University, and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
